- Intermittent mouse pauses and/or keyboard delays - if you experience this behavior with your CV24A connected to your Mac, please install Apple Mac OS X update 10.6.7 (or newer) to correct the problem.
- Horizontal flicker on the screen, occurring between 20 and 30 times per minute - if you experience this behavior with your CV24A connected to your Mac, it could be caused by a driver issue in OS X 10.6.5 (and 10.6.6). Please install Apple Mac OS X 10.6.7 (or newer) to correct the problem. If this does not resolve the issue, please email us for further diagnostic assistance.
- If you have an odd behavior with your CinemaView 24, please contact our support staff via email at support@cinemaview.com and provide a description of the problem, as well as a description of your Mac (approx new purchase date, whether it is a MacMini/MacBook/MacPro/MacBookPro/iMac, etc, the graphics subsystem nVidia 9400/nVidia320M/ATI5770/IntelHD. etc, and the version of OS X you are running). If you are unsure of this information, it is found in the System Profiler. Select "About My Mac" from the Apple pulldown menu, then click "More Information". The above info will be found under the hardware, graphics and display, and software sections of the System Profiler. Feel free to contact us if you need any assistance. Some older CV24A's being used with newer Macs can benefit from a firmware update. Let us know if you would like to send your unit in for an update - turnaround time is 2 business days once we receive the unit.

CinemaView Duo
- CinemaView Duo is currently not compatible with the ATI Radeon graphics cards used in the 2010/2011 MacPro Tower computers, and the late 2010/2011 iMac computers. Duo is compatible with all other Mini DisplayPort equipped Macs including the 2011 MacBook and MacBook Pro computers running the IntelHD graphics and AMD Radeon gpu's. When we have a fix to add compatibility, we will post news of it here and on the product page.
- Duo is not guaranteed to work in clamshell mode (closed lid) with all Apple laptops.
- Duo functionality requires two identical same-brand, same resolution Mini DisplayPort equipped monitors.
- If you have problems getting your Duo to work, please make certain that all Mini DisplayPort connections are clean and firmly inserted. If you still have trouble, please follow this procedure in the exact order described:
Start your Mac with ONE external display attached and operating. While running, disconnect the external display from your Mac, plug it into the M1 port on the Duo, then plug the Duo into your Mac - it should filcker briefly to blue and then start your display properly. After the display is on and operating through the Duo, attach the second display to the M2 port on the Duo. At this time, it should flicker briefly to blue and then both attached displays should turn on. At this point, you may need to go to the Display Preferences and make certain that MIRROR is turned off (in the Arrangement/Layout page) and also that the Duo is set to run at the correct resolution for your two combined displays. 30-Day No Questions Refund Policy
CinemaView buyers who purchase directly from our web store have a 30-day period from the time of purchase during which they can receive a Return Merchandise Authorization for any reason. All we require is that we be contacted within that initial 30-day post-purchase period for an RMA to be issued, that nothing is ever shipped to us without an RMA being obtained in advance, and that all originally supplied product, components, and accessories be returned in as-new condition. This policy applies only to the original buyer of the CinemaView product. A 15% deduction will be made in the refund amount to offset shipping and handling costs. Additional deductions may be made based on the completeness and condition of the returned product. This policy does not apply to products purchased from CinemaView resellers.
1-Year Limited Replacement Warranty
Any CinemaView product will be replaced if it fails to perform as advertised during the 1-year period following the date of purchase. Proof of purchase is required to establish the one-year warranty period. Without proof of purchase the warranty coverage will be provided for one-year from the date of manufacture, determined from the product serial number. No warranty coverage is provided on products with a defaced, illegible, or missing serial number. Contact us for an RMA to be issued, ship nothing to us without an RMA being obtained in advance, and send the defective product and a copy of your proof of purchase to the repair center we specify. We will send a replacement product back to you, with you paying the shipping cost. This warranty applies only to the original buyer of the CinemaView product.
