The installer is bundled with various calibration profiles to be used with your CV24A display. These profiles include a color-corrected baseline profile, along with lighter and darker variations to choose from. There is also a 2.2 Gamma targeted 6500K calibration profile for users who demand the highest degree of professional color accuracy.
Using the Installer: After downloading it, run the installer from your desktop. It will install the various color profiles into the appropriate location in your Mac. Once it has been completed, a message will display listing the different profiles and their intended usage, as well as the steps necessary to select which one will be "active" on your system. At this point you can close the installer, and go to System Preferences/Displays. This will open a window on each display connected to your Mac. Click the "COLOR" Tab on the open window on the CV24A, and you will see a list of the installed profiles for the display. Click your choice and the display will immediately change its appearance per the calibration profile you selected. You can keep choosing profiles to experiment with the settings, or you can quickly choose and then close the preferences window and resume your work. At any point in the future, changing profiles is as simple as going to the Displays preferences, clicking the Color Tab, choosing a new profile, and closing the window.
If the new profiles do not appear in the window, make sure the box is unchecked next to: Show profiles for this display only
